Our response to COVID-19

In response to Governor Whitmer’s Stay at Home order, Michigan Abilities Center is dedicated to keeping everyone involved as healthy as possible since March 10th, 2020.

Although the order has been lifted, there have still been restrictions and suggestions in helping everyone continue in safety.

MAC Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation patients will strictly be seen over Telemedicine, via MAC PMR Doxy Conference Portal, and MAC Equine Assisted Therapy client appointments will be spaced out for those who are most benefited.

If you feel as if you have been overlooked, we sincerely want to apologise for this inconvenience, and are very much willing to do whatever we can to help you. We asked that you call our office at 734.622.9500 OR send a respective email depending on what your needs are.

As of Tuesday, Oct. 20th 2020, it has been discussed that we will continue as we are currently until further notice. This means that we will not be seeing anyone in the MAC PMR Clinic in Livonia, and we are only scheduling individual Therapeutic Riding lessons on the days that lessons are offered.

We hope that everyone stays safe, and continues following the Social distancing guidelines including wearing the proper protective equipment as suggested by the CDC.
